GIANICOLO

According to legend, Rome was the city built on seven hills. picture here: Seven hills of Rome. here  Gianicolo Hill is not one of them. It is across the river Tevere. But is not the less interesting. From its summit, you have a breathtaking scenery of the city, in the summer for the inherent sound of cicadas.

Furthermore, this hill was dedicated in honor of important figures of history of Italy. Military leaders who stood at the birth of Giuseppe Garibaldi Italian State, and his wife Anita.
